How to Make Juicy Chicken
As mentioned earlier, I learned this method of making juicy chicken from a content creator on TikTok. Believe me, this technique produces a juicy chicken breast, every single time.
- Preheat oven to 400° (200°).
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
- Season the boneless chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.
- Sear in a hot pan for 5 minutes on one side.
- Flip, and immediately transfer to a preheated oven and bake for exactly 12 minutes (13 minutes if you are not using the chicken for this recipe).
How to Make Chicken Caprese
- While the chicken is baking, prepare a tomato mixture with cherry tomatoes, basil, olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Once the chicken is done, top with slices of fresh mozzarella, and broil until melted.
- Serve the chicken topped with the tomato mixture, a drizzle of balsamic glaze and garnished with fresh basil and cracked black pepper.
How to Serve and Store One-Pan Juicy Chicken Caprese
Here are a few ideas to pair pair with this Juicy Chicken Caprese dish:
- Pasta: Serve the chicken alongside a bed of al dente pasta tossed in a light marinara sauce or olive oil with garlic and herbs.
- Roasted Vegetables: Roasted vegetables such as asparagus, zucchini, and/or bell peppers make a fantastic side dish.
- Crusty Bread: A loaf of crusty Italian bread or garlic bread is perfect for soaking up the savory juices from the chicken and tomato mixture.
- Steamed Vegetables: Steamed broccoli or asparagus would be a great compliment to this baked chicken dish.
Storage and Leftovers: If you happen to have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Simply reheat on the stovetop or oven until warmed through.
