Notes

  • Easily replace green cabbage with Napa cabbage.
  • Yukon gold, red potatoes or even sweet potatoes are great substitutes for russet potatoes.
  • A tiny dice on the potatoes will allow the potatoes to fully cook with the cabbage and kielbasa.
  • Soak the potatoes to remove most of the starch. This will allow the potatoes to form a golden crust.
  • Be sure to rinse and dry the potatoes prior to adding them to the bowl with the cabbage and kielbasa.
  • Feel free to use your favorite seasoning blend. Be careful when adding too much salt, as the kielbasa tends to be quite salty.
  • Add in other vegetables to your liking.
  • Toss the mixture a few times as it’s roasting.
  • Add the butter at the end to prevent it from burning.
  • Serve this Sheet Pan Cabbage and Kielbasa as a meal, side dish or for meal prep.
