As many of you may know by now, I am not one to take the easy route when it comes to preparing meals. So, for all of you that are obsessed with the Instant Pot, sorry to say, I will never be investing in one. Honestly, I love being in the kitchen. If a recipe takes me three hours to prepare, this brings me tremendous pleasure. However, the other day, my girlfriend turned me on to the best way to prepare chicken wings using an air-fryer. Of course, I hesitated for a day, or so. Then, off to Amazon. This Rozmoz Air-Fryer had great reviews and was the perfect size for my Family of two. Needless to say, these Air-Fryer Chicken Wings were amazing. So juicy inside, and super crispy on the outside. Just the way I like them!
Naturally, I prepared a few chicken wings using my fabulous sauce for Buffalo Chicken Wings. The remaining wings, using a Garlic Parmesan seasoning. The first batch of wings, in my opinion, turned out perfectly. However, the Hubby does not like them as crispy as I do. So, I adjusted the time/temperature for the next two batches. Also, I think the organic chicken wings I used may have been a bit too tiny for the suggested temperature/time recommendations. Where I come from, chicken wings are whole and BIG. Still trying to get acclimated to wings being serve here in Charlotte as drums and flappers. Oh, and by the way, flappers are my favorite. What is your preference?

BENEFITS OF USING AN AIR-FRYER
Given that air-fryers use little to no oil (mine does not use oil), the fat and calorie content of food prepared using this technique will be greatly reduced without compromising flavor. In addition, air-fryers are efficient, easy to use, and clean up is a breeze. They are a great addition for busy families who yearn for a more convenient and quick way to prepare meals. Prior to purchasing, do your research. Read reviews and warranty agreements. Be sure to chose a model that is a perfect fit for your family.
HOW TO PREPARE AIR-FRYER CHICKEN WINGS
Not only are chicken wings full of protein, but they are also budget-friendly. Chicken wings are great for parties, or even as a weeknight meal. For either preparation mentioned above, lay the chicken wings on a baking sheet. Pat dry. Season both sides with kosher salt and black pepper.
BUFFALO-STYLE AIR-FRYER CHICKEN WINGS
Place the seasoned wings into the air-fryer basket in a single layer. This will help provide for crispy wings. Refer to the manual provided with your air-fryer regarding cook temperature and cook times for chicken wings. After doing a bit of research, I found that 370° was a perfect temperature. Cook time was fifteen minutes followed by flipping the wings and back in for another fifteen minutes. As mentioned earlier, the wings I used were a bit small, so this was a bit too long for the first batch (not for me, but for my Hubby). Consequently, I only let the last two batches air-fry for another ten minutes after flipping.
While the wings are in the air-fryer, mix together the ingredients for the Buffalo wing sauce. Once air-fried, place the hot wings in a large bowl. Pour on a few spoonfuls of the sauce. Toss to coat. Accompany any leftover sauce with the wings. Serve with a side of blue cheese or ranch dressing. ENJOY!
GARLIC PARMESAN AIR-FRYER CHICKEN WINGS
In a small bowl, combine the freshly grated Parmesan cheese, grated garlic and fresh chopped parsley. For this preparation, I think it is best to grate the garlic. Minced garlic may have the tendency to get too dark in the air-fryer. Sprinkle to coat the chicken wings on both sides. You may have to pat the mixture on the wings in order for it to adhere. Place the wings into the air-fryer (single layer) for the time/temperature referred to above.
Plate. Garnish with a few sprinkles of the leftover cheese mixture. ENJOY!
