Description

If you’re looking for a healthier twist on a classic game day appetizer, you’re in for a treat. These Air Fryer Chicken Wings not only cut down on excessive oil usage, but also deliver that perfect crunch, without sacrificing taste.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 dozen chicken wings, drums and flappers
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

For the Buffalo Wing Sauce:

  • 3/4 cup Buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 stick butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C).
  2. Place the chicken wings on a cookie sheet and season them on all sides with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  3. Arrange as many wings as you can in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they’re not touching.
  4. Air fry at 370°F (190°C) for 10 minutes.
  5. Flip the wings and air fry for another 6 minutes.
  6. For extra crispiness, air fry for an additional 3 minutes, after flipping.
  7. Meanwhile, prepare the Buffalo wing sauce by mixing the melted butter, Buffalo wing sauce and celery seed in a bowl.
  8. Once the wings are cooked to perfection, toss them in the Buffalo sauce, until evenly coated.
  9. Serve immediately.
  10. ENJOY!
