SWEET…SAVORY…SPICY! Prosciutto and Fig Pizza is one of the best homemade pizzas you will ever eat…and it’s so super easy! You will be blown away by the combination of prosciutto, fig, fresh mozzarella, peppery arugula and just a drizzle of AR’s Hot Southern Honey!

I had a bit of dough left over from making my Mushroom Pizza, so I decided to get creative and whip up a pizza with Prosciutto…Figs…and a few more special ingredients! I used these super cute mini pizza pans…they come four in a set…click here to purchase. This would be a great project for your kids…you may just have to change up the toppings to suit their liking. As for the dough…the last time I visited my Family in Pennsylvania, I made my obligatory trip to DeLallo’s and grabbed a few of their Pizza Dough Kits…just add water and you have the perfect foundation. Click link above to order online, if they are not available in your area. As an alternative, visit your local pizza shop or grocery store and pick up a ball or two of dough. This recipe makes three mini-pizzas with enough dough left over to make three more…just double the ingredients below to make six!

Prepare your dough. Heat oven to 425 degrees. Roll out onto floured surface. Sprinkle pizza pans with a light dusting of cornmeal. Form dough onto pans and brush entire surface with olive oil.

Break off tiny pieces of the fresh mozzarella and place on dough. Arrange the figs around the cheese. Season with kosher salt, pepper and crushed red pepper flakes.

Place in oven for about 10 to 12 minutes. Turn on the broiler for a minute or so at the end to brown the cheese. Have the prosciutto and arugula at the ready. Remove the pizzas from the oven. Tear off pieces of the prosciutto and place on finished pizza along with a garnish of the fresh arugula. Drizzle with the hot honey and ENJOY this Prosciutto and Fig Pizza.

I am more than just recipes. I love fashion and style too! Most importantly, I love my Family (my Hubby and my Fur Babies). My Husband (aka my “Kitchen Bitch”) means the world to me. He’s pretty damn cool too. Not only is he one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, he also has had a lengthy career in professional hockey. Not only winning two Stanley Cups with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the early ’90’s, but most recently winning the Calder Cup with the Charlotte Checkers, amongst many other accolades. If you live in Charlotte and play hockey, or have a family member who plays, be sure to contact him!

Our life has changed dramatically in the past few years with the passing of our two goldendoodles, Vegas and Viva. We were lucky enough to have Vegas for five years (totally wish it was longer). Most recently, losing our Viva to a brain tumor in July of 2020. We welcomed our mini goldendoodle 7, almost seven years ago. We just added the amazing Hazel! Of course, I am always posting tons and tons of photos! Be sure to check out my recipe for Pet Bone Broth! This broth is super rich in nutrients and will provide your pet with a multitude of health benefits!
