Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I make this honey mustard sauce ahead of time? Yes! It actually tastes better after chilling because the flavors fully develop.
  • Can I thin this into a dressing? Absolutely! Whisk in 1–2 teaspoons of water or a splash of olive oil, until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Is this sauce sweet or tangy? It’s the perfect balance of both. Add more honey for extra sweetness, or a touch more vinegar for more tang.
  • Can I make this without mayo? Yes! Greek yogurt is the best alternative for creaminess.
  • Is this good as a marinade? Definitely. Use it for chicken or salmon, but reserve a fresh batch for serving.
