Description

Juicy Grilled Pork Chops made with simple seasoning and grilled to perfection. An easy, quick dinner with tender, flavorful results every time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 pork chops (about 11.5 inches thick, bone-in)
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. If possible, allow the pork chops to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill to 400–425°F (200–220°C). Clean and lightly oil the grates.
  3. Combine all of the spices in a small bowl.
  4. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
  5. Brush both sides with olive oil.
  6. Season evenly with salt, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and any optional seasonings.
  7. Place pork chops on the grill and close the lid.
  8. Grill for 4–5 minutes, then flip.
  9. Once charred on that side, transfer off direct heat.
  10. Continue grilling another 4–5 minutes until the internal temperature reaches approximately 145°F (63°C).
  11. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving and slicing.
  12. ENJOY!

Notes

  • If time allows, allow the pork to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. This will create a better sear.
  • Bone-in pork chops will produce a juicier finished chop.
  • Thicker pork chops (1–1.5 inches) give the best results.
  • Let the grill fully preheat before adding the pork.
  • Resting the meat is key for locking in juices.
