Description
This Citrus Baked Fish is made with flaky white fish, citrus, garlic, and herbs. It’s a bright and quick seafood dinner that can be on your table in well under 30 minutes.

- 1 1/2 pounds orange roughy, or any flaky white fish
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 rosemary sprigs
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
- lemon wedges, for serving
For the citrus sauce:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Juice and zest of 1 orange
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the citrus sauce. Mix well.
- Season the fish filets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Butter the bottom of a baking dish. Place fish in dish.
- Pour the citrus sauce evenly over the fish.
- Add rosemary sprigs.
- Cover and bake for 15-20 minutes, until fish is tender, flaky, and no longer opaque.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
