Ingredients
- 1 package Kevin’s Natural Foods Teriyaki-Style Chicken
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 1/2 head cabbage, cut into two steaks
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- drizzle of sesame oil
- sprinkle of sesame seeds
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in cast iron pan to smoking.
- Cut the cabbage into 1″ steaks, leaving the core.
- Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Sear on both sides for a few minutes.
- As the cabbage is searing, drain the sous-vide liquid from the chicken.
- In a separate pan, heat up the remaining olive oil.
- Add the chicken. Sauté/brown for two minutes.
- Add the teriyaki sauce packet to the chicken.
- Toss the chicken in the sauce and heat through another minute.
- Plate the charred cabbage steak. Cut and discard the core.
- Top with a generous spoonful of the Teriyaki Chicken.
- Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle on sesame seeds.
- ENJOY!
