Description

This Ground Beef and Green Bean Stir Fry is an easy one-pan meal that’s fast to make, satisfying, and perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 11 1/2 pounds ground beef (80/20)
  • 12 ounces fresh green beans, finely diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated or ginger paste
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 3/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes,optional

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until well browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat, if needed.
  3. As the ground beef is cooking, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, beef broth, sesame oil, cornstarch, and crushed red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  4. Add the garlic and ginger to the beef. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the finely diced green beans and cook for 3–5 minutes until tender.
  6. Give the sauce a final whisk then add to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  7. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens and evenly coats the beef and green beans.
  8. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
  9. ENJOY!

Notes

  • Prep all of the ingredients first, as the cooking time is very quick.
  • Finely diced green beans help the sauce cling evenly.
  • Double the sauce to make this stir fry even saucier. Don’t double the soy sauce (one extra tablespoon will do).
  • Chili crisp can be used instead of crushed red pepper flakes for added texture and heat.
