Description
Avocado Lime Crema is a versatile and delectable condiment that combines the rich creaminess of avocados with the zesty freshness of limes. Use as a dip, sauce or topping!

- 1 avocado
- 1 lime
- 1 cup Mexican crema, sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped cilantro
- 1 garlic clove, optional
Instructions
- In a food processor, add the Mexican crema or sour cream, avocado (skin and pit removed), zest of one lime, juice of one lime, salt, pepper and fresh cilantro.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- ENJOY!
Notes
- use ripe avocados, remove the pit and skin
- Greek yogurt can be used in substitution of Mexican crema or sour cream (may need a touch of water to thin the sauce if using yogurt)
- garlic is optional
- fresh parsley can be substituted for fresh cilantro
- double the recipe for a large crowd
