- 2 1/4 cups Jarlsberg cheese, shredded
- 2 teaspoons red onion, minced
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 heavy cream, or milk
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- cracked black pepper, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the mayonnaise, heavy cream or milk, red onion, and lemon juice. Mix well until smooth.
- Fold in the shredded Jarlsberg cheese until fully coated in the sauce.
- Cover the bowl and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature with your favorite crackers, pretzels, or bread. Optionally sprinkle with cracked black pepper.
